Welcome to our first ever Atlanta Pickleball Tournament! We are very excited to bring this event to everyone and are really looking forward to a fun and competitive day of Pickleball.

 

A Few Housekeeping Items:

 

There is still time to register for the Team event (following doubles) and we do have a few spots open on our teams. We will allow players to register for the 3v3 on the day of as this is a new type of event we are trying out!

 

Friday Night Social & Practice:

 

Friday night from 5PM - 8PM we will have a Practice night and small social with pizza and drinks. There will be 4 courts and we are asking $5/person.  The location for this is at Twin Creeks Subdivision: 307 Brookcliff Terrace, Sugar Hill GA 30518.

 

Tournament Details (Saturday Nov. 5th):

 

Location: UTA Tennis Center at James Creek

3525 Melody Mizer Ln, 

Cumming, GA 30041

 

• Men's & Women's Doubles start time is 10AM. Please arrive at 9AM for registration and tournament announcements
   

• Mixed-Doubles will follow Men's & Women's. We are guessing around 12Noon.

We will try to have a 30-60 minute break for lunch (food TBD) and Double's Medal Ceremonies. 

• Team 3/3 Pickleball will begin around 3PM

Team Medal Ceremony will follow 

ALL TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF EVENTS RUN LONGER

 

Format Details:

 

Each Doubles and Team will play a double-elimination style bracket format 

Best of 3 games with each game going to 11 (win by 2) third game to 15 (switch sides at 8) 

We will send out the brackets either Friday or they will be posted Saturday morning at the Event. We are still finalizing all entries and will not have the complete schedule completed until then.

 

We will use the Dura-40 Ball (Neon)
